- GreenDNA finds pleasure in introducing the healthy fruit “Kokum” from BuDa folklore. We are glad we are playing our part in helping the tribals build a sustainable living for themselves.
BuDa is a Center for folklore research and documentation. It is a unit of Janapada Vishva Prathishtana an NGO based in Honnavar, in Uttar Kannada.
The said kokum are grown in Angadibail, 40 km from Ankola town. They are grown organically, sorted and selected with lot of effort. The selected fruits are then sun dried hygienically and packed.
No preservatives or chemicals used.
